Tucked along the peaceful edge of Bhimtal, Gardens On The Lake is a lake-facing 2-bedroom cottage designed for slow, scenic stays.
The home opens out to expansive private lawns overlooking the lake, creating a rare lakeside experience where mornings begin with still waters and evenings unfold around a bonfire. The interiors are warm and cosy, with comfortable living spaces, a dining area, and large windows that bring in natural light and views.
Both bedrooms are positioned to face the lake, offering uninterrupted views and a strong connection to the outdoors. The layout is simple yet functional, making it especially comfortable for families, elderly guests, and those travelling with pets.
The villa strikes the perfect balance between accessibility and seclusion, located close to the lake and local attractions while still offering a quiet, private setting.
The layout of the home:
- There are two entrances to this wheelchair-accessible, elderly-friendly cottage. Guests can either take the 12 steps up to the doors or roll over the ramp that runs parallelly.
- There is an expansive lawn to the left of the cottage with a dedicated bonfire pit. Take a moment to simply admire the enticing view from this area as you will see all shades of greens and blues in the backdrop.
- The house opens up to a living room to the left and a dining area in the front. There is also a fully-equipped kitchenette towards the right of the dining area.
- There are 2 bedrooms on either side of this homestay, both of which overlook Bhimtal Lake. The kids’ room is towards the left of the dining area. Both the rooms have an ensuite bathroom.
- If you are accompanied by drivers or house help, there is also a dedicated staff quarter accommodation for them towards the right side of the cottage.

Outside food is not allowed in the villa.
Guests are not allowed to access the kitchen except for infants with prior permission.
Guests cannot invite other guests and day visitors during their stay.
Bachelor groups & stag parties are not allowed.
We do not encourage parties and late-night revelry. Loud music is not permitted beyond 10 pm.
Consumption of alcohol is permitted only within limits.
Illegal activities including but not limited to carrying/consuming drugs/narcotics and carrying firearms/weapons are prohibited on the property. Management reserves the right to report any such activities to local authorities.
Smoking within the villa/rooms is prohibited.
Guests are requested to take care of all personal valuables. Management is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any items.
As required by law, every guest must carry government-approved photo ID proof, that shows the address. We accept only Aadhar Cards, Driving Licenses and Passports.
Inappropriate behaviour or violation of any of the above House Rules will invite a polite refusal to accept a Booking. If already checked in, Management reserves the right to admission and might ask guests to leave.
In case of special occasions like wedding and pre-wedding ceremonies, milestone celebrations and events, and similar such events that require the parts or entire estate, whether they require elaborate arrangements or not, are at the sole discretion and explicit permission of the management. These need to be informed at the time of booking, and additional venue charges, additional deposits and charges for time efforts and specialized skills needed for prior arrangements and post event cleanup will apply.
